Zeus 1.6 has been released!
A smaller, more focused update since 1.5, concentrating on the reliability of the Internet mail transfer tools. Existing users can upgrade from Zeus 1.5 to 1.6 for free.
Here is a brief list of the changes since 1.5:
- ZNewsXfer - Added support for NNTP servers in different timezones, via the new TIMEZONE argument on the command line.
- ZMailer - Fixed a problem with the telnet serial device which could cause ZMailer to hang if a connection dropped before the CONNECT string was received, or immediately afterwards.
- ZSMTPxfer - Now works reliably. The only real issue turned out to be a hang while reading the header, which is now fixed.
