Here is a brief list of the bigger changes since 1.4:

• ZGate - Now includes the ability to act as a simple mailing list server. Any messages in specified Fido echoes can be gated to email and sent to a list of Internet email addresses (ZGate.CFG "HOSTEDLIST").
• ZGate - Added ISO-8859-1 entity decoding for To/From names and subject lines, and fixed crashes on very long or comma-joined header lines.
• ZPOP3Xfer - Major update: added a config file, support for multiple servers, and mail filtering rules (substring search and DOS wildcards).
• ZNewsXfer - The KillFile is now fully implemented, allowing messages to be killed on the Message-ID line using unix-wildcard pattern matching. Also added GMT offset support, and fake No-Operations to avoid server-side timeouts when running multiple sockets.
• ZMP - New "NoAreafixFuzzy" config option to disable fuzzy-logic matching for misspelled or unknown AreaFix requests. AreaFix can now also send Fido mail using any AKA address instead of only the zmp.cfg NODE address, and better handles a corrupted ZMPstat data file.
• mbzeus - Rewrote the maintenance code: running 'mbmanager maint' now genuinely removes deleted messages and renumbers the base, rather than simply copying the data across.
• zeus.library / zmf.library - Replaced the old O(N^2) sorting routines with an O(N log N) merge-sort, giving a considerable speed increase across Zeus. The UserEditor's third-party progress bar, which turned out to be the real bottleneck, has also been removed - user list sorting and redrawing is now instant.
• Netmail Remapper - Fixed a bug which stripped fido domain names to 7 characters instead of allowing the full 8.
• ZMailer - Fixed a buffer overrun in the recent log window.
• SigEditor - Fixed a crash on SIG delete and a number of memory leaks.
• ZMPstat - Now also available natively for PPC-equipped Amigas.
